Welcome to CU Members Matters, the blog and newsroom for all things relating to credit union mortgage lending and CU Members Mortgage. We’ve been lending with credit unions since 1982 and our parent company Colonial Savings has been lending since 1952 – let’s just say we have decades and decades of expertise under our roof and this blog is our place to share it with you.
Get the Latest in CU Mortgage Lending
We’ll educate you on the things that matter most and help you realize the trends and necessities you’ll want to apply in your lending departments. We’ll share the inside scoop on what’s changing and forecast what we believe is imperative for success. All this will be wrapped up in lending tips, operations, marketing know-how, and product knowledge curated by our staff who have decades of lending knowledge and experience. Plus, we’ll add a few guest authors that we’re pleased to include their wisdom as well.
And, under this roof we have an immense amount of scenarios we’ve experienced, too — life experience we’re proud to be a part of and have learned from. We’ll share those stories as well. After all, learning from doing is one of the best ways to find what works and what doesn’t.
Content You Can Post
Last but not least, this blog wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t add a little bit of home lending knowledge for the member. You’ll find specific articles you can post to your credit union social pages to address your credit union members exactly as you would want – purely educational.
We hope that along this blog journey, you’ll engage in the thought provoking conversation that will inspire new ideas and encourage your credit union’s path. We hope to build upon the knowledge you have or introduce you to a new product segment and we’ll all find that together credit unions are a united front in lending.
